fire in the disco!
Today I cleaned some, then went for a nice walk around.
I stopped at St. Vincent De Paul and the flower shop, then went by Target. Left with some random necessities, and a green rouched shirt that looks so good on me it seemed to count as a necessity.
A few days ago, the lady in front of me in the grocery line was purchasing big cans of Dinty Moore Beef Stew. Huh, I thought. Stew sounds good. So today when I went by Safeway to replenish my supply of juice [I drink so much juice], I picked up some of this alleged 'stew' to try. And it's damn good.
So: the house is clean. My bed is made for once. I feel great from all that walking. Walk The Line was fantastic; Joaquin owns the role. Afterwards we stayed and watched Serenity - the 11th viewing for me - and that film always makes me happy. It's early yet and a whole evening of no obligations lies ahead. I've got some unbelievable things to look forward to in the coming weeks. I'm eating yummy stew and listening to George Harrison's last album.
