i love my cap'n
Class today was way above my and Karate Ryan's level, and it was impossible and fantastic! I got to free-spar for the first time ever, and with Jon, no less. Never done free sparring in my life, and I got to/had to [depending on how you view it] spar with Jon. Eep. Then when the line moved left, I found myself sparring with Fred, another sensei. Meep.
Afterwards, all eleven of us walked over to Bangkok Bay for dinner, and that was fantastic, too. Everybody had stories and jokes, and the food was great, although secondary to the conversation.
I want to write about this more but I absolutely must get away from the computer right now. More later.
Oh, I have to remember this, though:

Hannah: [quietly] Quail.
Jon: [astonished] Whale?!?
Hannah: Quail!!!
