However, we will not be moving anytime soon. Himself rolled the van while delivering mail on Monday afternoon. He was driving on a gravel road. He hit the brakes to avoid a deer and the van began to fishtail. It hit a ditch and rolled onto the roof. Because he was delivering mail he was not wearing a seatbelt. Happy Birthday to all of those that I missed over the past month. It has been crazy. The house that we are in has been sold and the closing is at the end of the month. I am still unemployed but have two interviews coming up. One tomorrow for Substitute teaching in Bristol TN schools and the other at a law firm in Kingsport on Friday. We got all of the dining room furniture to the POD. We are using tray tables for the computers and to eat from. The couches and chairs in the living room are going to the salvation army if they can get the couches. We will bring them the chairs. I called the vets and asked them to copy the dogs' records and to print up vaccine certificates for them ( Read more... )

The POD was delivered at about 930 in the morning. We got the boxes and bookcases into the POD. We also got everything out of the attic and into the POD or to the Salvation Army. At 2pm we went to the bank to sign the paperwork for the HELOC. We should have the money available on the 31st. Tomorrow we will take the dining room furniture to the POD ( Read more... )

We are packing. I have packed 43 boxes by myself. Himself has packed the china and the dining room. We have 39 uhaul small boxes of books. We have given at least 4 boxes to the Salvation Army. We dropped off a van and a half at the Salvi. My back hurts and my arms hurt. We have gotten a lot done, but there is still so much more to do. We are trying ( Read more... )

We are moving to Tennessee. It is happening. I am excited and terrified all at the same time.  It is a beautiful area. We have to get the house packed up in two and a half weeks. I will be moving down with the dogs on the 11th of June. My brother will be coming up here to start doing the work on the house that needs to be done. I will be looking ( Read more... )
