Happy
Today I am basically happy. I am choosing to be happy. Sometimes it is very difficult to make this choice with all that can happen in life. I am a little worried about my girl, Aphrodite. We took her to the vet yesterday because she keeps licking and suckling her nipple area. Apparently she is lactating. She was spayed March 1. She is only about a year old now. The vet thinks that when she was spayed they left what is called an ovarian remnant. This can trigger hormones so that the cat thinks that she is in heat, or pregnant, or other things. We are supposed to watch her and try to keep her from suckling so that she will cease to lactate. But it is not life threatening and she is basically healthy.
