Had a great day today. NY Giants won. Did some crochet. Himself went food shopping so we are stocked. He got me some bananas so that I can dehydrate them to make some healthy snacks.
I talked to my friend Kristy at work yesterday. She is planning on getting married around March of next year. I asked her what her favorite color was and what her intended's favorite color. Hers is pink, his is barney purple. Going to be an interesting afghan, but I have ideas for it. Now to get the yarn.
We are going to have Don's mom up for Christmas. It will be fun, but we are going to have to get the house cleaned. Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away. The busiest day of the year for Cracker Barrel. Every year around this time I see and hear people talking about not doing any shopping or going out to allow those retail people time to spend with their families and I have to laugh. You can say anything you want but there are just too many people that want to go out to eat on Thanksgiving. It's our busiest day of the year for a reason. If people did not show up I am sure that we would close but I cannot see that happening any time soon. I just hope my coworkers get tipped well for the holiday. I will more than likely be working in the kitchen so thankfully will not have to deal with that myself.
We will be having Thanksgiving dinner at my mother's house. My brother and his family are coming up and preparing the dinner so Mom does not have to deal with it. I will be getting a chocolate pecan pie from Cracker Barrel to bring to the dinner.
