Life in Tennessee

Wow, I can't believe it has been two weeks that I have been here. Yesterday I spent the whole day practically on World of Warcraft. Himself came down last weekend and we went to Dollywood's Splash Country. We had a good time. I got a little sunburned. The road on the way to Dollywood looks like the Las Vegas strip, complete with walk in wedding chapel. We had a good laugh at that one.

My mother came down to visit and look at houses. We think that she has found the perfect house. She just has to see if the financing will work out. I hope it does because it really is perfect for her. It is 3.5 miles from my brother and his family. It is in a nice neighborhood. It is all one level with only one step going into the house. We can fence in the back yard for her dog that she wants to get.

My job prospect does not seem to be working out. I got lost on the way to the interview and was an hour late. We rescheduled for the following day and she did not show up at all and the other lawyer in the office did not know where she was and her receptionist was not there either. I will contact the Tennessee Paralegal Associations on Monday. I will research the law firms in the area and get ready to send out resumes. I won't actually send them out until we are back from Pennsic.

After next weekend I will drive up to my mothers. I will bring one of my nieces with me. Himself and I are going to a concert on Long Island on the 18th. Then I will stay at my mothers until Pennsic. Hopefully then our house will be done, on the market and sold. After Pennsic, Himself will be coming down to Tennessee too.

I have six books that I checked out of the library. I finished Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I have requested Dragonfly in Amber. It is in transit and should be at the library soon. I am going to return two of them tomorrow or Monday, because I have finished them. I went out to the movies with my nieces and we saw Nancy Drew and Evan Almighty. Evan Almighty was a really funny and good movie.
