Windows

Why is it the windows in modern houses are set so high in the walls? I want to be able to look out my window while seated - at dinner or at a desk or in a comfortable chair - and see more than sky and tree tops. Windows should be at eye level for a seated adult. When I'm seated, all the windows in my house (except the picture window in my living room) are above my head. It makes me sad.

This morning I had cantaloupe and cottage cheese for breakfast. It tastes like summer at Grandma's house.
