1. One movie that made you laugh: Music and Lyrics
2. One movie that made you cry: I cry during Kleenex commericals ... you expect me to pick just one??? Ok, fine: Under the Tuscan Sun
3. One movie you loved when you were a child: Robin Hood (the Disney version with the fox)
4. One movie that you have seen more than 10 times: The Sound of Music. We watched it almost religiously every year when it came on TV (although I don't remember who used to air it every year).
5. One movie you've seen multiple times in the theater: I'm sure there is something I've seen at least twice but at this moment nothing is coming to mind ...
6. One movie you walked out on: I remember the physical act of walking out to the movie. I remember the theater even. I was with my brother Daniel. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately!) I don't remember the film. We just agreed that it was awful and we could better spend our time getting something to eat. Maybe it was IQ ...
However I very much wish I had walked out of Oliver Stone's Alexander. That's 3 hours of my life I'm never getting back!
7. One movie that you can and do quote from: The Princess Bride! That and Groundhog Day.
8. One movie you loved, but were embarrassed to admit it: Hollywood Bollywood ... but like
camillofan with her's, apparently not too embarrassed since I own a copy of it.
9. One movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven't gotten around to watching yet: Citzen Kane. Yeah, I know. Pathetic for a former film student.
10. One movie you hated: The aforementioned Alexander.
11. One movie that scared you: The Ring. Letting the sweetie talk me to watching it was one of my biggest mistakes EVER.
12. One movie that made you happy: Strictly Ballroom
13. One movie that made you miserable: Naked. And I saw it at screening in film school to which my prof had invited the director (Mike Leigh) who was in town. It is a horrible, horrible film and I felt horrid for days afterwards. Irrationally, I also felt guilty because Leigh turned around and looked at us all with this expectant look on his face afterwards and I didn't want him to see how much I was absolutely disgusted by something he evidently took some pride in.
14. One movie musical for which you know all the lyrics to all the songs: Fiddler on the Roof
15. One movie that you have been known to sing along with: Hello Dolly. It's just infectious!
16. One movie you would recommend that everyone see: I will echo
camillofan here: Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
17. One movie character you’ve fallen in love with: Jack Kelly - Christian Bale's character from Newsies.
18. One actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie: Jimmy Stewart (when selecting from the classics) or Christian Bale (contemporary - although honestly that proved to be a mistake with American Psycho).
19. One actor that would make you less likely to see a movie: Will Farrell
20. One of the last movies you saw: Burn After Reading ... I somehow forgot it was a Coen Brothers film ...
21. One of the next movies you hope to see: Expelled. But I think I need to be in the right mood to see it.
