I think I miss Alex already ... and he's not even gone yet. I can hear his hearts shattering when he gets the letter. And, I'm so sad for him.

At least, Alex2 gets to show her Mars and give her a gentle push in her own future, supporting Adelaine.

I do look forward to the story about how he got grounded. Of all the truths Allison wants ... (chuckles with her own amusement).

Poor Alex indeed. (But he was young. And he coped.)

Ourobos...

I'm wondering what people imagine. *g*

Yes, he coped. But, the horrible evil alien is going to get him now. *sniffles* And, he doesn't have anyone to help. Too many gods ... not enough humans.

I bet it was something foolish and dangerous. Like the laser screwdriver story ... only he didn't get killed. *chuckles* Allison isn't familiar with the TCE. Alex could have his father's more dangerous ... no .. cruel? ... weapon at his disposal.

He's good at coping - it's what he brought himself up to do. And he's still young, remember. This incarnation is in many ways a reaction against the first one - uncompromising where he used to be manipulative.

I bet it was something foolish and dangerous. Like the laser screwdriver story ... only he didn't get killed. *chuckles*
*whistles innocently*

Allison isn't familiar with the TCE. Alex could have his father's more dangerous ... no .. cruel? ... weapon at his disposal.
TCE?

But it's so sad to lose the boy to the Time Lord. He's more noble and less heart. Doesn't mean they're in the wrong places or anything.

TCE ... belonged to Roger Delgado's Master. The Tissue Compression Eliminator. Turned humans into little dolls ... dead of course ... I remember him hanging at least one from the rear view mirror of a lorry ... after he escaped from a UNIT compound, if I remember correctly. No muss. No fuss. Just the size of an action figure.

I wouldn't call him *noble*, really, although I suppose in some sense he is. I'd more see him as pragmatic - somewhere between the Doctor and the Master. Focus in a completely different direction.

Oh yes. I didn't recognise the acronym. (And Alex did love that miniscope the Doctor brought home for Christmas...

Well ... I'd forgotten Ainley's Master had one also ... and he accidentally shrunk himself with it. *sighs* Poor Master.

I'm thinking lordly-type noble. Not necessarily personality-type noble. But, yes, somewhere between the two.

It's a shame he hasn't been around human's for a while. Means he hasn't been hanging out with a Doctor. Just sitting at home, building things ... researching ...

The Seeker is mindful not to repeat his father's mistakes.

Noblesse oblige.

Well, there's plenty other species in the universe. And he did a lot of travelling with Jack when he was younger.

Maggie's glad there won't be any Shrinky-Dink Seeker's wandering around. *chuckles*

Yes ... yes ... other species ... but Jack and the Doctor gravitate towards one species. LOL My OC's did want to send him that "book" with how too's on making Gallifrey's flora and fauna ... maybe he got it? :D

At this point - yes, and if not then he figured it out on his own. :)
