So, the Children of Earth chapter. Not surprisingly this is wall-to-wall angst, although it's all quite subdued. For those not familiar with Children of Earth, this is by far the best description I can think of:

(It has been very strange working on this, by the way, because I've had it planned out for so long that I think it's lost its impact for me. So I am oddly happy that it still works the way I wanted it to.)

Of course. That breaking of my heart was nothing to be sorry.. I mean, end of Children of Earth broke my heart. It was very well done :) Be happy!

Oh Children of Earth was beautiful and terrible and broke my heart more thoroughly than anything else, ever.

But it also gave me an ending for this 'verse, and for that I was grateful. :)

Thank you. Children of Earth was such an incredible thing, that it wasn't easy to do it justice. I'm glad that apparently I did.

Well the show keeps using the same actors, so they introduced 'spatial genetic multiplicity' - I couldn't not go with it. :)
