Procrastinating.

So, I changed my layout again... But last night's Torchwood squee post reminded me that the show is coming back, and I really want to finish 'My Immortal 2' before S4 airs. So, I've put up my pretty, pretty banner to work as a constant reminder ( Read more... )

Heh. It's not like they're not worth it, but sometimes (often)...

We watched Outnumbered last night, and I couldn't believe how young they all looked (particularly Hugh Dennis and Tyger watsit the oldest son).

Heh. Chicklet was watching that with me and couldn't understand why they would be hitting each other. The joys of being an only child. :D

Heee! It's the bit with the wand that really gets me - the randomness is spot-on!

It's fantastic, isn't it? Apparently the children make up their own lines, more or less, which works like a dream.

Haha!! That'll do it. No grown-up's mind is ever going to manage to be quite that random. Or quite that pointlessly belligerent.

Although if I strain it's like I can *almost* remember the feeling of that--being five.

Indeed. Everything Karen says about the frisbee could have come straight out of The Cherub's mouth. Like I said - uncanny!

I'm not sure I can... Too many fiver year olds of my own...

I adore that show. Andy Hamilton has got it perfectly. The children are superb.

Karen (well, Ramona Marquez) played Princess Margaret in The King's Speech and was good, but calmer, in that too.

*nods a lot* There's the episode where they are having people round to look at the house because they want to sell it, and it starts with the mother sending everyone out to school/work, and being left with a tip. When her husband comes home it's immaculate, and she tells him not to touch anything because it took her seven hours to get it looking like that. All I could do was nod in recognition.

I did not know that. Will look out for her. :)
