Maybe Someday. Chapter 7.

The last two chapters were ridiculously awkward to write - this one (and the one following) practically wrote itself, which was a great relief. We're leaving Buffy to get some well-earned sleep and joining our two favourite souled vamps who also might have a few 'issues' to sort out (remember that this is a sequel to 'The Summer After ( Read more... )

but after this chapter, I had to say something.
::is very happy:: I love this chapter - and I just wrote itself (as opposed to Spike and Buffy's talk which was *impossible*).

You have a wonderful grasp on both Angel and Spike, and the way they relate to each other.
Thank you! *beams* I love them both to so many little pieces - the sequel to this (which I'm going to start writing as soon as I have a little more time) will be mostly Spike & Angel. I can't wait! ;)

All that animosity is so twined with comraderie, and well you use the word family a lot, and that is the best description.
I think Spike & Angel are just as - if not more - complex than Spike/Buffy. And I'm all about character exploration (in case you hadn't noticed *g*).

Also, thank you so much for not painting Angel as a lummox.
My plesaure! My threesome fic actually sort of grew out of this fic - because it would only take a little push to get them all together. (Which won't happen of course!)

I could totally believe Angel could react to the situation you've put him in in the way you show him reacting. The complexity of the reaction fits the complexity of the character. So thanks for that.
Thank *you* for your feedback! But I enjoyed developing Angel very much - where would he go post-NFA? Because he was pretty suicidal. I could see him having vengeance as his primary motivation.
