You know what's the best thing to have when everything's really slippery? A pushchair [=stroller]! (With a child in, of course). *had lots of fun taking kids to school*

I just started reading and got caught up on this story and I'm totally loving it! You handled the "Buffy jumped right back in the saddle" issue better than pretty much any other fic I can think of. It's good that he's lying to her about certain things, because she would, no doubt, NOT be happy! LOL.

Aw, thank you, that is praise indeed! Although it really helps to a) Have an actual v. 3-dimensional character to pair her up with, and b) That character to share *so* many of her issues! ;)

It's good that he's lying to her about certain things, because she would, no doubt, NOT be happy! LOL.

Totally OT, but this update came at just the right time! My Tivo was set to record a gardening show, but instead, it recorded a show (from 2003 I think?) called "Keys to the Castle." It just so happened to be hosted by Borrowman, and he was just sooooo cute! So he's been on my mind a wee bit LOL.

Oh, yes. It's amazing -- with as gorgeous as JB is, Scott is *so* much better looking. ;-)

You think? I dunno - Scott isn't really my type, although he's most definitely hot! (Also he must be a saint! JB is fun, but I wouldn't marry him for anything!)

Ah, see, Scott is far more my type - again, gorgeous though John is. Definitely agree on his canonization potential, though he did clearly know what he was getting into, given how long they've been together. I did like the suggestion brought up after the pics from the last con emerged (you know, the one with all the JB-GDL making out) that perhaps Scott's got his own voyeuristic streak that fits perfectly with John's obvious exhibitionist streak. Of course, no idea if it's true (nor do I actually *want* to know, really), but if it is, all the better for both of them!

Oh, and I loved the chapter and really will get around to a proper review at some point, honest. ;-)

Yes, I've seen that speculation too. And who know - anyway, they seem to make it work, and that's very nice to see. :)
