I also loved her remembering that Amanda girl, and what she'd been like at the time-such a good little girl, meek, polite.
It occurs to me, as I write, that I could have her killed if I wanted. I won’t. But I could. And I think I now - finally - truly understand my Master.
That part was utterly fascinating. Knowing that she wouldn't actually kill, but that she could, and relishing that power. Knowing the well-mannered little girl, who wanted to become a good wife, became this. Such revenge. ♥ And how it made her closer to the Master-her Master… (And oh, this is actually different from "my Doctor"-I just nailed what made me uncomfortable about it. "My Doctor" is the companion being possessive over the Doctor.
