For those who might not have heard yet, I am sorry to be the one to pass on the news that 
purplefringe died suddenly in her sleep a week ago.

I'm still not able to process it. But I wanted to add one of her wonderful vids to this post, and somehow this is the one it needed to be. (Original post here.) And I can't get my head around the fact that she will never make new vids and I'll never get to talk to her about them. She was one of the most joyfully talented people it has ever been my fortune to meet.
Someday I'll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney top that's where you'll find me
