It feels weird to post on LJ about things that are happening on Tumblr, but yeah, welcome to this post.
I guess I could also add that even after spending eight years not in Massachusetts, I still can never hold in my head on the day that not everyone gets Patriots Day off. Wonderful marathon was wonderful (10-time winner! Best 25th birthday present ever! Record time! First American in 31 years!), but also surreal.
But okay, Tumblr.
I've picked up random followers and reblogs at various points over my time on there. Standard. People who actually use the tags, I'm guessing. But over the past few weeks I've had a heap of reblogs of something I posted more than a year ago and a new follower almost every day. I can't figure it out, especially the first part. I'd say it was just Tumblr catching up, or for some reason telling me when folks reblog this one thing I'm in the chain on, even if they're directly reblogging someone else. But no, I went and looked after enough of these happened, and they're actually reblogging MY post. I think I'd understand better if it were a post I'd originated, but it was me reblogging a theanimalblog post.
There is no real point to this, I don't expect an explanation, just, it's not stopping, it's always the same post, and I felt the need to talk it out and I can't do that on tumblr because...I don't know, that's somehow even weirder than talking about it here.
Hi, how's your spring? I've been wanting to go to New Zealand and Australia and spend some serious time squishing Prince George. And anyone who didn't know that plastic sign was going into his mouth the moment he got his hands on it hasn't spent time around a child whose age is still counted in months.
