I'm obsessed.
Yes, yes, I finally admit that I am completely, totally, thoroughly, undeniably obsessed with the new Hawaii Five-0. Or maybe it is just Steve and Danny...and of course Chin and Kono. Or maybe it is Scott and Alex. Or more than likely simply a very happy combination of everything all rolled into one giant box of joy! *beams*
See, last night there was a new episode. I was lucky and I got to watch it on our big screen...projector, wall sized screen, fantastic viewing. Then, got the episode on my laptop, which by the way couldn't get until 2 AM simply because if I were to do anything like that I have to wait until between 2 AM and 7 AM or 'we exceed our download allowance' according to the Fair Access Policy which means we're FAP'd because we've got HughesNet. So, that's at like 2:15 by the time I've got it started and get to sleep. Snowed last night and there's some sort of mixture...sleet...sneet...whatever it is so I knew I had to get up at normal time for the kids in case there was school.
So 5:30 I am awake. Yes, three grand hours of sleep. And of course there's no news on school at that time. Nooo they like to wait until much closer to 6 AM when it's almost too late for the kids to get up and ready if they've got school. Anyway, so I'm waiting and becoming more and more awake as each minute passes. By 5:45 or so, when I finally find information where we're out of school today, I'm completely awake, no going back to sleep. So I go outside, check the outdoor wood stove which needs filled and I fill it smashing my finger only once in the process, came back inside, got coffee, sat down at my laptop and started rewatching. Then I went back to the beginning only about 4 minutes in because I remembered I can cap with my super cool VLC player! *beams* And cap I did! Got lots of good ones. Got lots of good ones where I ended up all giddy and happy and HAD to share. Of course, again, the whole fair access policy thing that Hughes has, it sucks our bandwidth up if I were to upload and post myself soooo shanachie_quill posted! Cause she too is obsessed! Right? K.
So, some caps are up and I am still giddy! Then it hits me! Icons! Duh, there must be icons made of this fantastical wonderful episode!! But, then it hit me. I must write! Yes, adding to my obsession is the fact that no matter what I flippin want to do or not to do, the show, well, it inspires me. Right now? I have 10 files open. Of those ten, guess how many are H50 stories?? Are ya guessing? *waits* 6! Yes, 6! *sigh* And that is not even all of the ones I have a few notes on. Noooo, that is not it at all! My new coffee mugs I got with my Christmas money had quotes on them that, yes, inspired me to write stories. *shakes head* Seriously?? I have posted one fic up on my fanfic.net page. Don't have it open but the link is in my previous post if anyone is interested. Right? Yeah, the link for all my writing is there. Working on two more to hopefully post today. Yes, today! Well, a serious attempt will be made anyway! LOL
So anyway...I've rambled on and on and probably haven't really said a whole lot. Just that I canNOT seem to step away from anything and everything Hawaii Five-0! And also there will be fic and there will be icons if anyone might at all be interested! *grins*
OH! And my new year's resolutions...still writing 500 a day!! Well, yesterday I might not have gotten to 500. But it is 6 out of 7 though a week so as long as I don't miss anymore days I'm good right? Yup. Getting nowhere on the weight loss. *sigh* Damn stress. Oh, and working on finishing stories too!! YAY! Although I think on average I'm starting more new ones than finishing old ones. *sigh* Yeah, I'll work on that. Right after the one I just started this morning that takes place right after last night's episode. LOL Shhh, I'm in my happy Hawaii place....
