Job Update
Well, I had my first interview for the job at Banana Republic on Sunday with one of the managers, and apparently, I did or said something right, because he set me up for a second interview with the head woman of the store for Monday. Then at about 11:30 Monday morning, my phone rings, and it's the store saying that she had to go out of town, so I couldn't interview with her today, so I was expecting them to reschedule it or something - but nope. The lady on the phone said that based on my interview with the first guy, Brandon, that they were just going to skip the second interview, check my references and then after that, if everything checked out ok, call my back either that night or today sometime with an official job offer. Yay me. If I get this job, I will be such a happy little college girl. 50% off all regular prices, and 30% off sale prices???? It doesn't get much better than that in retail.
So I think I'm gonna just suck it up and ask one of the guys for the most recent boy's phone number (the guy that cuddled me for 8 hours)... DJ apparently isn't gonna find out about the situation for me, so I'm gonna have to be brave and do it myself. I will be posting updates as things progress (or don't, cause hey, that IS an option).
Right now, I'm off to bed... but not without a quote series of the day:
Me: (Since Catholics believe when they take communion that the bread and wine actually become Jesus) It's like eating bits of Jesus.
Friend: Therefore, it would be impossible to be Catholic and vegetarian...So on Friday is Jesus a vegetable?
Me: Comatose, paraplegic, or what?...So was he beeping on the cross?
Friend: Man, I have to go to church in the morning for sure now.
Yeah, we're all blasphemous, and we're going to hell. See ya there!
