So on Monday my RA came to our dorm and gave me a message saying that I had a package in the main office.
A package! Yaysquee!! Happy happy happy...So I go straight to the Heritage Main Offices and I get this box.
O.O ZOMG. It's huge! I was so extremely excited about the package, and I had absolutely no idea what was on the inside. I fairly jogged home complete with package and ripped it open to see...
That three quarters of it was stuffing. And inside that box I will place another box! Or, to save on postage... Are you kidding me? Amazon couldn't have shipped the smaller box by itself, it HAD to be placed in a box four times its size and surrounded with stuffing. Oh well, I was still excited to see what was in the smaller box.
As long as it wasn't more boxes. Well, it turns out that it was more boxes.
But somehow, these many many more boxes are boxes that I can handle having. ^___^ I was in complete shock, to be completely honest. OREOS?!!? Yaysquee!! Although, these Oreos are not to be confused with
these other oreos that I already had. See, the others are double stuft. And they have the Manning brothers on them. Totally different oreos.
Thank you Momma for your gracious gift of oreos! (And am I supposed to share them with Amy and Matthew or can I horde them to myself? ^_~)
In other news, on Monday it also rained for the first time since I've been in Utah. And I use the term 'rain' loosely. It was more...drizzly. But it would seem as though Utah is determined to illustrate that this is in fact a DESERT
and deciduous trees just don't seem to fit in here. Our little drizzly rain "storm" took down a great branch on this lovely tree outside Bowen Hall. Sadcries. I'm considering starting a campaign for "Protection Against God-Given Rain for our Man-Planted trees." PAGGRFOMPT. Seriously, what God gave us is taking down what man has placed here--what's up with that?
In slightly less disheartening news, my hall has been recruited for BYU's Women's Rugby. No Experience Necessary. I think I'll pass.
"The Book of Mormon is true, was true yesterday, and will be true tommorow. They won't release a newer version of the Book of Mormon that is 'truer', so this is probably the best buy in the Bookstore." --Brother Parker, on why you really ought to own a Book of Mormon if you're a non-member taking his Book of Mormon class (aside from the fact that, yes, it's the textbook for the class).
