Have been so swamped that I missed the REVEAL! The UTTERLY MARVELOUS sc010f wrote me a hugely wonderful gift, "When the Alarm Will Sound, Where Will You Be?" http://sshg-exchange.livejournal.com/289162.html which LAUNCHED this year's incredible exchange with an appropriate bang and made that day especially yummy for me, personally. I had the honor of tackling another movie spinoff, when the INCREDIBLE, UNBELIEVABLE, BEST-EVAH mods gave me my dear pokeystar's prompts, and the lightning-fast, Best Beta in the Whole Wide Wizarding World, sshg316 took on the down-to-the-wire challenge of helping me get "Almost All of Me" http://sshg-exchange.livejournal.com/291675.html polished and posted. Shug, I owe you about sixteen martinis for EVERYTHING (you know all the other things I owe you for!)!
I was thrilled to have the holiday break, which let me catch up on some absolutely stunning pieces, but I have, alas, fallen behind again in reading and reviewing. Which only means I have a great storehouse of marvelous reading ahead of when I get a few minutes to breathe again, and I promise to keep at it. It's definitely worth it.
I've mostly been working my butt off, and not with anything especially exciting, just a pile of paid writing and endless hours at a temporary office job on the other side of town. You know, the usual stuff one does to pay the bills, stuff that always arrives in huge chunks and then hints that it may never come again, so you damn well better take it all now and like it.
Anyway, hugs to every last one of you, and particular thanks to everyone (mods included, mods ESPECIALLY) who labored to make this Exchange another grand and glorious adventure in Severus-Hermione deliciousness!
