This was... woah. You couldn't feed better my love for the pairing really. The characterization was just so perfect, I could so see Boone trying to gain the upper hand with sex and eventually failing at getting what he wanted in the first place. I loved the translation of the way he failed at his attempts to the way his plan backfired and how he was feeling guilty after all. He'd have been completely uncapable of doing something such as this, bless him and be still my heart. Jack's attitude in the whole of this was just perfect, the mixture between the confused and the fact that he was obviously caring about it was heartwarming. And damn, it was hot. So really hot.

Boone closes his eyes tightly to block the image of Jack out, refusing to admit that the joy he’s taking from this isn’t completely a result Jack’s domination. It’s not because Jack is beautiful and amazing, or that the sight of such a strong man trembling merely from his touch doesn’t make his head swim with desire. It’s not any of those things. Certainly not.

God, he's so perfectly in denial and this is such a delicious paragraph.

He looks honestly confused. Boone wants to stay angry at him. He wants to hate him. He wants to stalk away with some sharp quip or snide remark, a warning to leave him to fight his own battles in the future.

Instead, Boone steps in quickly, kisses Jack on the lips like a schoolgirl stealing a shy kiss, and then turns away.

Perfect. Just so perfect and IC, and I'm flailing and whatever. And I loved the ending. Yes, please, I vote for Jack going to talk to him. I really loved it and your take on the prompt was just perfect, thank you!

\o/ <--- That's me celebrating that you liked this little offering. :) When you requested hearts and minds and your love of boone, I almost wrote another angsty boone & shannon piece but then was like...eh, no. Let's write something porny. :) I'm glad you liked the characterization here, as you're the Boone expert, and I am not experienced at slashing Boone up that much. :) I'm also glad it was hot, because I haven't touched LOST smut in awhile, I've had a hard time porning our darling favorites up with anyone. Oy!
