If you or anyone enjoy watching horror, rape, and torture on film, do you consider that a sign of mental illness? Why or why not?
No, part of the whole torture and horror genre is to scare people and creep you out. It's also like an escape from everything that's going on right now, that's why horror was so popular back in the 70's and 80's.
Do you think it's wrong for someone who's been abused in his or her own life to enjoy watching the same thing happen to a character onscreen? Why or why not?

If you became interested in horror at a young age, can you tell me what it was like growing up interested in horror?
Really hard to fit in. Nobody was really interested but I always had a bizarre love for making everyone in my classes turn green by making up gross and gory stories.
Did you ever have a hard time explaining to others why you are interested in horror? If so, please explain.
No I never really did. I think it's because I'm so passionate about the genre.
Why do you think it's harder for some people to understand why anyone would be interested in horror movies than other subgenres of film like action movies and romance movies? Do you think religion has any affect on people's perception of horror? Please explain.
People for some reason don't understand how people can like horror and not be disgusted or appalled by it. I can speak from experience because my mother has never been a fan of horror at all and she hates it in fact. Her struggle was that she honestly didn't like seeing people being hacked to bits and not everybody does. I just hate it when people shove it down your throat that you shouldn't like horror because of that.
