On Sharmin.
I have a little bit more to report on my Sharmin.
Her coating is coming off, slowly but surely. The most effective method seems to be to put her in boiled water (!!!!) and then scrub her with her with baking soda and a toothbrush. I wouldn't have tried boiling water on my own, but sis wanted to try it, and nothing else was working. XD
Her head is off for a faceup now. So far, she's looking lovely. I think I'm planning to have a red wig and a white wig for her. No idea what color eyes yet. I think I'm going to buy some cheap acryllics in different colors to see what looks good on her. (hellooooo artistique)
Oh! And she has a name now. Finally. Her name is Samantha. I think it absolutely suits her and the character I have in mind. Her middle name is Lumina, not that I think I'll ever use it; it's kind of fun to give her a middle name. Much to my amusement, my sister absolutely abhors the name Lumina.
