I made a very image-heavy comment with kitty pics
here. You should also just check out
the whole damn post for more cute animal goodness.
I got to the doctor today and was pleasantly surprised. After making the appointment, I googled the doctor to double check where the office was located, and came up with a LOT of bad reviews/ratings on various sites. But she was perfectly patient and thorough with me so I don't know? But I'm happy. Just needed more birth control + some help sleeping.
Yay you guys all liked the dress pics I posted :D
We get people together every few weeks to play Rock Band which is always fun. We were vaguely curious one day just how low of a score you could get and still pass the song. That day, Jon got 57% singing something. We thought that was pretty hard to beat but last time (when Jon wasn't there to witness his defeat) I got 49% singing Cool For Cats. On MEDIUM. I'm so strangely proud.
I thought of this because I just started drumming a little while ago and tonight I got my first 100% on Foo Fighters - Enough Space (medium). I sang along for about half of it too. I was like "whoa 100%, I should tell my flist" but realized I am way more impressed with 49%.
Was pretty tired from running around all day so we just ate leftovers but I swear I'm going to make
artichoke stew soon.
Someone posted on
cheapvegan a while back about making a sweet potato cinnamon swirl bread. It sounded so damn good I'm going to try to work it out. I'll use
Bryanna Clark Grogan's recipe for no-knead dough, just using sweet potato instead of regular potato. Plan to roll it out and then sprinkle a mix of cinnamon, brown sugar, and orange zest over it, then roll it back up and either bake as a loaf or slice up and bake as cinnamon rolls. Either way I'll probably use orange juice and powdered sugar to make a glaze for it. I guess the recipe's large enough I could do a loaf (easy on the sugar) AND rolls (not so easy on the sugar).
I kind of think that if my kitchen is clean at all, I will steal D's camera and take pictures which will please Alison, I know.
Oh, and new people, feel free to ask whatever questions you like.
