declaration on the rights and grievances of me

IT IS SO COLD OUTSIDE THAT MY FINGERS ARE HAVING TROUBLE BENDING NOW TO TYPE THESE WORDS, AND I HAVE BEEN INSIDE FOR LIKE FIVE MINUTES. this place is incredible. there is no segway between summer and winter in auburn. you have no way to be prepared for it. saturday, it's 80 degrees, people are laying out by the pool, monday the high is 60. it is currently 53 degrees in the auburn/opelika area. i was not anticipating winter until at least november, and therefore am without fleece and the majority of my sweaters. courduroy blazer is getting more wear than ever in this burst of iciness that is upon us.

in other news, a successful week of testing is rounded out today, high b's in history of alabama prove that no matter how much a class sucks, and whether or not you drink mimosas while studying for it, you will do better than you did on your first test. glad to know my theories are correct. after a brief study group with reid this morning, american revolution became mine, and i am not afraid of it anymore. also, my upstairs neighbors ridiculous dog with unbelievable lung capacity simply has to stop waking me up in the morning with its incessant barking, or i will turn them in for having a pet to northcutt realty, plain and simple. my downstairs neighbors who have a cat, however, will never be told on by me, as long as they keep letting him sit on the back of the couch by the window and talk to me when i come home from school.

krisan and elizabeth have a boy neighbor who was sitting on his front porch carving pumpkins by himself yesterday. incredible.

recent bursts of cold weather and wind advisories have awakened my desire to watch home alone, the best holiday film in the history of man (sorry, 'it's a wonderful life', but you don't win because you are sad and not as fun as kevin. no offense.)

now i have to go take a hot shower because my fingers are still numb from the weather conditions. i need to find my gloves...
