my highschool likes to try and get you to give them money by sending you letters on fancy stationary with a little black ribbon enclosed. the ribbon is to remind you of the days when you wore the ol' uniform to school and tied the neckhole together with the very same little grosgrain ribbon. this is to make you reminisce and feel sentimental towards said highschool, which is turning 100 this year. it has almost worked on me, and i can confidently say that if i had any extra money, i might toss a few bucks gps' way. as it is, hopefully some of my fellow 2003-ers have a little deeper pockets than me.
speaking of fellow 2003-ers, i was surfing through the radio the other day and ran across a little jesse mccartney which of course made me think of margaret mickles, whom i should call, and then a myriad of other long lost friends whom i should also call. since i am not so good at calling (ask my parents), it will probably take me a while to get around to it, but if any of my long lost friends have run across the ol' livejournal, know that i love you all. and you have jesse mccartney and miss betts to thank for that little declaration to you.
you people should probably start taking me to like, poker matches and racetrack bets, because i am pretty lucky. i have realized this in the past couple days even more so. seems like sometimes the Lord just likes to drop us a hint that he's taking care of us and that he loves us, and everyonce in a while it comes along with a peach-colored rose.
