Time for an update? Be it small or not...?
So since it's been over a month with no update... I figured I should throw together a few random thoughts and whatnot... just so there's something in here... and those of you that actually care to read about my life/journal, don't think I've died or anything. :oP
Nothing really too new and exciting has been happening lately. Pretty much same old same old... Work has been moving along... as it always does... Been thinking a lot lately about getting a second job, part time of course... perhaps at Wal Mart.... Dunno why really... just something different, and I guess a little bit of change would be good. I dunno.
Went and saw Dead Silence last Friday... thought it was quite good... and the end was awesome. I know some people are of course gonna give you the whole "I knew the end all along..." hahaha... that's always the case... but the end was awesome... I totally didn't suspect the person it turned out to be... But yeah... good movie... and this Friday Hills Have Eyes #2... think I'm heading to see that with Richard and Mandy... :oP YAY! I just hope it's as good as the first one... the first one was kick-ass!
Saturday we're doin' Mandarin and hanging out with my sister, Jake and a couple friends... then probably going bowling in the evening. Just need to get out... and having a weekend off finally will be nice. Nothing amazing planned, and the weather is supposed to be warm, but rainy... so doubt we'll venture too far.
Sunday I think we're doing some venturing with Tonya. Who knows what... Road trip of some sort... Then of course AMAZING RACE at nite... Who's excited for this weeks elimination???? Anyone know who leaves...? ? I DO I DO! ! ! No worries, it shall remain sealed... I wont spoil it... but I'm just curious to see if my spoiler list is gonna be accurate once more... and even accurate right to the end. Will be neat to find out...
So my mom's first encounter with cancer was a success...! She was able to have it fully removed without any major complications... which is awesome! Was a bit annoyed at the scar that was left... but after she realized it was a scar of the not so good outlook of not having it removed, she was fine. So she's still in frequently for check-ups and whatnot, which is awesome...told her best to keep it checked, and get it dealt with right away... that way it doesn't progress into something worse.
My sister too is now having some tests done. The doctor thinks she may actually have the same thing my mother just dealt with. We're hoping not... but at least she too, is brave enough to go in and get the necessary tests done, and get what is needed fixed.
Jeffy... I'm constanting thinking of you as well my friend. I'm hoping your rough batch of not so much funness is almost through. *crosses fingers*... and I'm hoping that if surgery is needed, it's very painless, and passes quickly. *hugs* You've gotta keep me updated on what's happening...I'm sure everything will go fine... and you'll be through the roughest part in no time...
So is everyone as excited as I am about HARRY POTTER & THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX! ! ! I'm on pins and needles waiting for the release date. July 13th baby! I can't wait! Everytime I see the preview I'm like... "GOD THAT LOOKS GOOD!" Hehehe...I'm in the process of re-reading books #4 and 5... as I intent to give the new film a thorough going over... although I'm sure, if it's anything like the last one, lots will be cut out of the film. I just hope they spend sufficient time on the big battle scene at the end... it should be AMAZING! Here's hoping...
I'm also excited to see a couple more movies that will be coming out in the near future... The Reaping, Spiderman #3, Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer... I'm sure there's more, but those are three main ones I'm awaiting as well.
How was everyone's St. Patrick's Day...? A drunken frenzy no doubt... *tsk tsk...shakes head* ... I was actually having a conversation with some co-workers the morning after... and we all were just astounded at the behaviour of people on St. Paddy's Day... it's ridiculous. It's nothing but an excuse for people to go out and get plastered... I mean seriously, don't dress in green, don't put on a totally FAKE irish accent... and act all irish... let's drink some Guinness that'll make me irish for the day! Uhm... NO! If you're not irish, you shouldn't be celebratin'...Muslims don't celebrate Christmas... if you're not Buddhist you don't go around prayin' to buddha now do ya? I dunno, we were just surprised at the way people make themselves look absolutely ridiculous when days like this come along... again, just act like idiots, because it's a day for me to go get drunk and act stupid. Like let's go into the local 7-Eleven, eat some Jamaican Patty's, and a sandwich, and then go into the bathroom, throw it up everywhere, and refuse to pay for it, and leave... DRUNKEN BASTARDS! I hate alcoholics!
Okay now that I've finished my rant on that subject... What else was there to update about...? Hmmm... Well I'm thinking of doing a bit of cleaning today around the apartment, I just need to work up the motivation to do so... and I was also going to do some baking... but I dunno about that either... kinda just very lax today I guess... Who knows... I still may get up the ambition to tackle cleaning the bathroom and baking those Banana Chocolate Chip loaves I had planned on... :oP Mmmm... banana-chocolately goodness... :oP
I'm anxiously awaiting the end of April too... booked off a long weekend...thinking of going down to my gramma's for a couple days during the week portion of it, and coming back home for the weekend... and going on a major road trip... maybe T.O. Zoo, or Point Pelee, haven't decided yet... very pumped about that though. :o) Yayness...
Anyhow... I guess I've rambled on enough for now... I hope everyone is well, and I'm sure I'll be talking to you all at some point... I hope anyhow... Bye for now *hugs* :o)
