X Factor - Live Show 1

Oct 09, 2011 22:24

After last night's show i've only managed to get to a computer now, which sucks as they've already had the results show and we know who went home, but none the less here are my views.

Amelia Lily - Why have they diedher hair pink? I don't understand that myself, I have a very love hate relationship towards the styling of this show, the hair is always a bit bizarre and don't even get me started on some of the clothing choices they make but anyway enough about that, she sang Bille Jean which is never a good idea as Michael Jackson songs sung by other people always sound so karaoke, and she kind of yelled it which didn't help. Instantly forgettable.

Johnny Robinson - Nooooooooo! I really liked him and now Louis has gone and changed him completely. I agree with Gary 100% Louis has so turned him into a circus act. It's not fair, he has such a good voice and so much potential.

Rhythmix - At this point I nearly turned off my TV. (I apologize as this post so far shows me in such a bitchy way) I never like girlbands on this show, I haven't actually liked any girl bands since The Spice Girls and that was when I was nine. I guess when puberty hit I realized that there are boys in the world and they sing too. These girls actually weren't that bad though, but they do need alot of work.

Frankie Cocozza - Grrrrrrrrr. Why is he on my TV? I really don't think he can sing at all. I was hoping Gary would send him home but I knew he wouldn't, I wouldn't mind if he had a bit more stage presence but when I look at him I just think 'what a twat'.

Sophie Habibis - Finally someone who can hold a tune, have to admit I was really gutted this girl got through and Jade Edwards was sent home (she deserved to be there) but this girl was really good, I liked the arrangement and she was the first person who was wearing a nice outfit. She's got a really nice tone which I love, but I did forget about her as the night went on.

Jonjo Kerr - :( I don't know why he got such a hard time. I thought he was good! But I guess it really shows how much I know doesn't it? Sad that he went really, not who I would have chosen.

2 Shoes - Lol! I love these girls, they are so much fun, it's like two Stacey Soloman's. But I think it was fair they were sent home, although I definately thought they sang a bit better than Nu Vibe, to be honest I think they were sent home because they weren't put together! Oh dear, X Factor loves manufacturing bands.

James Michael - I thought he was the best so far! I don't know why Louis and Kelly didn't like it, it was a great take on a Beatles song and he actually played an instrument which is very hard to come by these days, shame he went.

Misha B - Am I missing something because I didn't really like it. She had a great vocal but I didn't like what they did to the song, they had some weird RnB mix over it and it sounded a bit, well crap. And her outfit made me go a bit wide eyed but hey she has a good voice and that's the main thing.

Nu Vibe - Ugh, they have no chemistry at all and just can't sing. Alone or together. No harmonies or anything, my God I hope they do better next week. Come on boys, you can do better!

Marcus Collins - I am in love with this guy, I loved the song, the image, everything. He was probably my second favourite of the night after Craig. Lovely personality too, it's nice to see someone who has got a happy face.

Sami Brookes - Still don't understand why she wasn't put through the first time round but whatever, Louis is a nutcase. She is so stylish and beautiful and she really belted that song out. I think she is definately going to be in the competition for a long time, best of the overs by a long shot.

The Risk - Oh my God it's a good boyband! Loved it so much (the second half of the show was much better wasn't it?) I like the way they all got to sing their own bits, the problem with The Keys is that only one of them sang, sure you do need a lead singer but let the other guys get something in too.

Craig Colton - Best of the night. So good to see someone who acted through the song too, I think I want him to win actually, i'd buy his album. And majour props as well for picking his own song and arrangement, well done there for sure!

Kitty Brucknell - The audience was like silent, so that sums it up. I won't say anymore because i've already sounded a bit too bitchy for my liking.

Janet Devlin - Perfect end to the show, it was the right song, the right look. I don't think this girl could screw any song up to be honest. Loved it.

x factor, gary barlow
