Queens of the stone age - Rated r
Well, who doesn't know queens of the stone age? The album pre- 'songs for the deaf' which got everyone talking, and is just as catchy & brilliant as the newer material.
Want to try a sample? Queens of the stone age - Feel good hit of the summer - is just that. a feel good hit; with a rocking up-beat summer sound even if it is about drugs.

They sound like your favourite grit voiced riff-rock band, only fronted by chicks. These girls were largely part of what became known as 'riot grrrl' - balls out rock n roll without the balls & a passion for their guitar to defeat many if not all of their male rivals of the 1990's.

Radiohead - Pablo Honey
Radiohead continue to evolve musically throughought the years and this is an essential part of that devlopment - from this record it's evident why they became one of the most inspiring bands of our generation. Possibly undermined by critics and even the band itself; but still a defining part of their discography.
try Radiohead - Creep - you know you've heard it before but it never loses its brilliance.

Yume Bitsu - Giant surface music falling to earth like jewels from the sky
Everyone knows sigur rós, explosions in the sky. However; one band of a similar sound seems to have slipped through this net - Yume Bitsu. This 5 track album may sound short but once you are enveloped in it's melodies you'll forget where you are til you wish it was endless.
Try listening to The end of pain is near - it's beautiful.
