More on that e-Bay auction
I've only just seen this entry by frolijah_fan_54 about the mysterious appearance and disappearance of Elijah's DNA on e-Bay. I went to the e-Bay page, and followed the link (http://www.dna11.com/elijah) to the DNA 11 website, and there is actually some info up there now.
Los Angeles, CA - It was announced today that Elijah Wood will partner up with DNA 11 to raise funds for the children’s charity The Art of Elysium through an online auction with eBay’s “Giving Works” program. DNA 11 will be giving 100% of the proceeds from this art auction to The Art of Elysium. Elijah will provide DNA 11 with some of his DNA and they will in turn produce a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of artwork for the auction. The auction will go live September 8, 2009 on eBay.
So, all those eager people who said they would bid - now's your chance!
Plus, there are a couple more pics than I think we've seen so far, and if anyone's interested, a short video about how the DNA artworks are made (no Elijah in it, though). I loved the news lady's closing remark: "A great idea for someone who already has everything." Quite! :D
