Due for an update
Hello world. I got back and there was 1 post on my Friends page, what's up with that?
I haven't posted in over a month... again? Wow is that the second time I've done that? Abnormal for me.
I have been cleaning my place recently... for some reason got on a spring cleaning kick. Even though the temperature today is the lowest it's been for a while - 36 for a high, 30 for a low. Spring seems far off by those standards. Luckily it goes back up into the 60s from now on. I would talk about my plants now, but I started this paragraph with the intention of talking about laundry.
So, I was doing laundry tonight, and realized that I've started to do all my "dry clean only" or "hand wash" clothing in the 'delicate' cycle of the washer. I thought "I'm getting lazy in my old age." So really, if an article of clothing rips, I have no one to come cry to but myself. So far so good, even with the crappy 'delicate' cycle of this washer.
I also wanted to write up about my time in DC, so I'd remember what we did and what happened, but that will take a while, so I'll save it for another night when I don't have the motivation to clean. Hopefully I'll remember what I wanted to write down by then.
Right now I'm cleaning up some of the floor in my bedroom and typing up some recipes to go in my recipe box. Basically, I'm standardizing all my recipes to 4x6 index cards. I have 60 recipes to do this with... oh the fun.
