(no subject)
So I drove down to New Paltz this weekend to surprise Dave for his birthday. I told him to be at home between 7 and 8 because Fed Ex was going to deliver his birthday gift. I showed up at 8:30ish. MWAHAHAHAHAHA. He totally fell for it. There was even a note to the fed ex guy on the back door asking him to please go to the front door instead. Oh I am so proud of myself. Mwahahahaha again!
Dave was very excited, he loves surprises, and the fact that I brought cake and presents didn't hurt either ;)
Had a very very fun weekend including a geek date to Barnes and Noble and dinner at Panera (mmmm). But now I must buckle down to work. I have to give a little presentation at journal club in the morning and I have to take notes on the article I'm discussing so I don't look silly. It's a cool article tho, which is nice. I <3 gene therapy.
