Actual update containing icons; LotR, Finding Neverland, and other such things

Well, considering my last update was November 23, 2004, I think it's safe to say that once again I have managed to take ages to get an actual update done. Several reasons: I have a life (troublesome, that), a boyfriend (part of said life but twice as much attention is required), and the amount of time I have to make actual icons is not much. I make

Hi, making a new try here. I have taken #3 in the into the west set and the frodo one marked hero, I would really like to use them if it is alright, otherwise I´ll just keep them for my eyes only. Please can I use them? They are all very beautiful, I don´t know how to make icons myself, and would really like to have some more.

Of course you may use them- that's what they're up for! XD
All I ask of you is that when you upload them, you include my username in the picture keywords for the credit.

As for icon-making... I didn't know a thing about it when I started doing it, either. All you need is a good graphics programme (PaintShop Pro 7/8/9 or PhotoShop 7 and up), a nice image, and the nerve to try all sorts of stuff. The first icons might not look all that, but practice makes perfect. :)

Thank You. Now, please forgive me but I´m a total computer novice and here in LJ to, but I have to ask, where do I put your name? Do I put it in one of those boxes where I upload the pic to my info? I think it said keyword there and username or something. Hehe, sorry but I need clarification, I just wouldn´t want to do something wrong, you know.

Heh, it's really fairly simple. You upload the picture in lj, and then you can add some sort of comment in the 'keyword' and 'comment' boxes next to the image. I'd use the keyword for whatever name you'd want to give the icon, and 'comment' to add something like 'by elicons' or something. :)

Hehe, yes I tried with the pics I already have. That was simple indeed. Well, that just shows what a dimwit I am.
