Finally watched The Losers this weekend.
Now, I'm a very bad SPN fan. I really don't care that much about JDM. Or, you know, like, at all.
I've always wondered if it wasn't mostly because I have deep-seated hatred of Papa Winchester and it carried over to JDM. But now I pretty much know it's just JDM. There is nothing about him that works for me. And sometimes it makes me a little sad that I don't get to squee with my peeps who love his mangy ass. :(
So basically I liked The Losers pretty much despite JDM or maybe because I have some serious, not-so-secret love for Chris Evans (and his fabulous little brother Scott with their it-runs-in-the-family hedgehog hair). Now I'm shallow enough that the fact that he looks like this:
is probably apart of the appeal.
Hello chest hair, I do appreciate a man who doesn't feel the need to wax away the man fur.
I just find him absolutely charming, even in the Fantastic Four where his character was basically a giant ass, he was a giant, charming ass. And his comedic timing is pretty darn good too, I'm also a sucker for a man who makes me laugh
Tangent alert: did I mention his adorable little brother...
He also makes me laugh with his awesome scrunchy faces of awesome, and his chest hair. None of which I was able to find pictures of (the faces, not the chest hair), despite the fact that I've seen them before, was even half way convinced I had a few saved on my hard drive. Bet it was those bastards at ABC.
Back to The Losers. If Jeffrey Dean don't do nothing and Chris confirms my heterosexuality (and his baby brother Scott makes me wish I was a gay man), Zoe does her level best to get me to swear off the boys altogether.
Now with her... I get the hype. Homina.
God, it feels like forever since I've been around. I've missed you lj, and my lovely, lovely flist. Work has been insane since I started the new job, like 16 hour days are not everyday, but honestly, once a week is too damn often. I have been absolutely slammed over the last couple (six, seven??) months. I really don't get paid enough for this shit.
Hopefully that flicker of light I see at the end of the tunnel is the slow down of this crap-fest and not just some miserable fuckers building more tunnel.
