Oh yes, Life is getting better to me.
After a short, horrible night I held my presentation about "onnagata" today. It went well. People told me after the presentation that it was interesting, my professor noded a lot and had no critic at the end. Looking back, I can say, I enjoyed it. A lot. Wonderful topic.
I just had a hard time preparing it. The illness and the other presentation made it impossible for me to prepare it as detailled as I wanted it. But it went well, it felt good. I really think, I can relax now.
It's also a time to look back on the first 6 weeks of the semester. What have I done? The first 2 weeks I wrote the termpaper on Vampires, right after it I went to my family and got ill, then the other presentation and now this one. Wow, what a busy semester.
I will try to write my term paperabout the onnagata in December, it's the smartest thing to do.
And of course it's time for Christmas preparations.
As a kind of reward for my hard work, I went to see the movie "Marie Antoinette" this evening.
I loved it. I spent half of my childhood reading biographies about this woman. I'm very interested in french history. It was amazing. A very emotional, "image heavy" movie, kin dof a long, colourful videoclip. Those costumes! Oh, so beautiful.
I'm very happy they have not shown her end, it would be very depressive. I was hard enough to stop with her leave of Versailles.
*happy sigh*
Tomorrow will be a day full of university until 5 o'clock pm, short time home with a phone call with my parents and then I will play my dear merman again. I hope that I will be able to relax next weekend, spending my time drawing, finsihing commissions, planning the time until christmas.
It feels so good, how my body and my mind are beginning to relax, to refind a balance.
