I hate this book.
"The Pillars of the Earth"
It's just... terrible.
Yes,I admit it is kind of exciting.
BUT you have only evil/bad persons, and good ones. Nothing between. And always when something goes well, the catastrophy follows some minutes later.
I cannot believe how the characters go through all this and learn nothing. They always feel like they won and then they are always deeply surprised and grieved when something evil happens.
And it is totally predictable.
Makes me mad.
