Here at work we've all become fond of a particular slang word in Spanish - puto. It means different things to different Spanish cultures but it basically means "gigolo". It could be an insult or a complement, depending on how you look at it

It's gotta be the Opus Dei thing mixed with homophobia, I imagine.

To me it sounds like Nicholas Cage in Wild At Heart. That's why I'm getting a kick out of it.
