I have to say out of all of them I actually like the muggle version the best. Maybe it's jsut because I'm old-fashioned and love old, traditional media or soemthing, but it just seems better that way.
In regards to the actual work, I feel like the colors are more vibrant and real, the pigments are the tons that you sought. I think it also preserves the original sketch the best, too, and your intentions with how Hermione should look.
The one right above it that you finished with PS is my runner-up, probably because it preserves the integrity of the sketch, too. I dislike the harsh colored lines, though, on her dress in particular.
I dislike the last one the most, possibly because it looks half-way between digital and real. I also dislike the lack of multi-tonal colors variations in the dress, and the coloring makes it seem rigid or uncomfortable.
Beautiful work, anyhow, regardless of my two cents. :D Then again, when am I not a fan of your stuff? Um, like never. Ok, great. Oh, and I have to say that scanning in the sketch and then printing it seems like a genius idea, I kind of want to try it!! Do you mind? Also, what weight paper do you print it on?
Thank you very much for your long comment! ♥ It is so interesting how different people evaluate the versions. I'm really happy I did this.
Hmm, the paper must be relatively thin, I think I used 150g watercolour paper, but I'm not sure, because I only had the sheets left, and not the block.
