lotsa bridge!
I played three events with Sumit today!
We played in the open pairs, and were 1st in C, 2nd in B, which is enough for a blue ribbon q. I have 3 blue ribbon qs, and no red ribbon ones! :)
We then were going to play in the side game for the evening, but then we got asked to be on a team with Steve and Ellen, who are two of the best players in LA, so that was loads of fun. We won the event, so that was pretty cool. It was 1-session, so didn't award a lot of points, and only red pts, but it was still cool. :)
Tomorrow I play with John, but I've got to resist a third session, because I have a 7am flight the next day.
I also learned something I didn't know about negative doubles. It was kinda fun.
