*ahem*

I have discovered the source of the melancholy. It is in fact hormonal. Woo. So I just have to wait for it to leave. And then the good times will roll. (YESSSSSSSSSS!!!)

So after work yesterday, I did a couple of errands. Which translates to: shop at the Co-Op, and deposit all the money I had raised thus far for the Famine. Lots of singles, haha. I bought myself a UConn Women's Basketball National Championship t-shirt and it is made of AWESOME, and a fantasy novel that was totally a splurge I am nearly regretting now. And I bought my dad his birthday present. Now I need to get a really belated one for my mother, because I feel awful that I never got her one. >_<

After all that, I wandered over to Mirror Lake, with the intention of climbing Merlin and reading there for a really long time. (Note: Merlin is a HUGE willow-type tree.) However, just as I got there, a couple climbed into the tree. GAH! So I found another tree and started to climb it just as a father told his two young sons not to because it was dangerous. Hah! The looks those little boys gave me! So great.

So yeah. I spent a comfortable and happy hour reading peacefully in the tree, and then wandered over to CLAS for the Relay for Life Agents show...which was actually on the grass outside the SU. Go figure. So that was fun. And then afterward, Lisa bought us all dinner at Chaugie's to get rid of her large amount of points. I didn't like the chowder I ordered, but was going to eat it anyway, but Bear whispered the waitress when I wasn't listening, "What would happen if somebody didn't like her soup?" Waitress: "I could get her a menu, and she could order something else." Bear: "Because she's not going to say anything." So the waitress came over to me, offered to take away the soup and bring me a menu. I turned crimson red and finally relented, if only to stop everybody from staring at me and telling me to just do it. I ordered a house salad, and when it finally came, I found rotten leaves in the bottom. Win.

We then waltzed over to Whittles for the Comedy Show that the Agents were in. I called my mom because although Tophat invited me into the warm-up (even though I was not performing), I couldn't handle seeing the girl. So we chatted for a bit, and then I started to cry. Mom and I prayed briefly, and then I went inside and cried in the bathroom until the feeling passed. I tried to loiter with everybody, but couldn't do it, so I just went and sat down alone and read a book until the show started. Which turned out to be really funny. I really liked Tophat's scenes, hehe. He eventually left, and I left soon after, because we were meeting at 10.30 and it was 10.15 and there was no sign of the group on stage at that point stopping and I was getting bored.

So we drew comics and had a great time and ordered Indian and all was well with the world.

And this morning we got breakfast, ran into Scott and talked improv until we all parted ways. I took a shower and then ran over to Fairfield Way, because I was in the Molotov Improv show...which was good, minus the fact that the audience was sporadic at best. Oh, Open House day. Haha.

And now I'm finishing up my questions about the silly little isopod experiments we did in lab last week, and in an hour I'll go to Whittles for dinner, and then a bunch of us are heading off into the woods to scare the crap out of ourselves with horror stories around a campfire. Tophat has promised that if I get scared, I can cuddle. I think I'll be cuddling, hahaha.

And tomorrow is comic scanning and then...!!! OF MONTREAL CONCERT AT TOAD'S TOMORROW NIGHT!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEE! *bouncebounce* SO EXCITED!!!
