I don't feel good...:-(
Well, my fever is gone, so that's good news. But my stomach still isn't cooperating. For lunch today I had a few spoonfulls of dry Rice Krispies and some apple juice. Right now I have no desire to eat anything that was raised on a farm with the exception of fruit, maybe. To think last night I was craving a steak. Andrew actually fixed eggs and toast for me which was good at the time, but now I don't even want to eat that. I have three tests this week, and I can't afford to miss class. I want to get better soon because my Ladies Retreat at Wesley is this weekend, and I really want to go.
Over all, I was pleased with the Oscars. I do wish the Passion would have at least gotten best score, but such was not to happen. Oh well. I can't remember who did win though. I thought some of the things that Chris Rock said were very tacky, particularly that stab at Jude Law. I respect Sean Penn for saying something about that. I've been more impressed with Jude Law's performances than a lot of Tom Cruise's. What was up with Cathrine Zeta-Jones? Did they do that on purpose? And Dustin Hoffman didn't seem to be quite with it either. What I really don't understand is why the Best Song performances were kind of turned into the Byonce show. Not that she did a bad job with them. She sang them very nicely. Very very nice voice. I just don't understand why she sang everything. I guess several people bailed at the last minute. I was very pleased with who got the acting awards. I was kind of pulling for Alan Alda to get best supporting actor, but I'm glad Morgan Freeman got it.
