We don't need no stinkin power!
Sadly, that isn't true, but it is the situation. There isn't power at my apartment because my roommate payed the bill late. (It's a long, involved story why that was the final straw.) We aren't going to have power until at least Thursday!!!!!!!! Normally I would have paid it but for two things. First, the bill is almost $400 to get it turned back on (that long story). Second, I just loaned my parents $200. So there was no way I had that kind of money to pay the bill. *sighs*
Additionally, we have an ant infestation in the apartment because they came in the patio door. We don't have a vacuum to suck the buggers out of the carpet and are going to have to get one. The real problem with the power being out in relation to the ants is that they are going to love the humidity and everything sine the air is out. They have already infested my dirty clothes on the floor of the bathroom. *winces* Three bites and my finger swelled up to the size of a sausage. The have come to a head, but the finger is still swollen and sore. I cannot avoid them completely unless we get rid of the infestation. I am working on it. The pest-control guy did come, he just couldn't spray my room because it is a disaster area. I guess I will be rectifying that situation over the next week. :C
With writing, things are coming along, although not as smoothly as I might like. I am working on plotting the post-apocalyptic novel I have been thinking about writing for Nano. I want to read back over some of the other stuff I have started and get to work on some of the older stuff. I have two new characters from prompts to think about telling their story, although they haven't let it be known what they want me to do with them at all. All-in-all, I am pleased with where I am right now in my writing and with Autumnwrite.
I think that is everything right now.
