E-Motion Sickness

Hallo mein Kinder!

I'm back from Berlin.

Strange Place!
I was up for a week with my host Dad and Brother to pick up his visa (for his exchange to the US) and to do some good ol sight seeing.
Sadly, it was on the day that I was invited to north Germany, to see one of my North American friends before she went home.
But the was no way i could have gone, this was Berlin, my host father had planned this for weeks.
So we embarked on Tuesday, i must say i didn't enjoy the 4 hours of ear bleeding blues guitar solos in the car.
I mean for goodness sake, I don't normally bitch about other peoples music but everysingle bloody blues song sounds freakin the same!

My first day morning in Berlin didn't fare much better.
The American Embassy my host brother need to go to decided to fuck us around for 3 and half hours, for a 2 minute interview!

Over the next days few days got to see the best of Berlin; Brandenburg tor, Checkpoint Charlie, Potsdamer Platz, all the interesting sights.
The one thing about that makes berlin thats so speical is jits unquiceness.
Before the WW2, the centre of town was (as funny as it seems) in the center, after the wall went up there was 2 centers and now with the walls remains bringing more people to berlin rather then keeping then out, there is a third new center (Aka old new town?).

Shoppingwise, nothing I bought seems to be...er right, my real Russian guard army cap is to small, my trendy Berlin jacket is to big and the record shop diddn't have the Bright Eyes dvd (Saddle Creek) so i settled for a Death Cab one ( Drive Well, Sleep carefully).
Enough gloating/woe over junk.

But the most uncanny thing was bumping into a bunch of exchange students from Forcheim (That Aussie Ass Daniel and his partner in crime NZs Kat).
Despite finding these guys INCREDIBLY ANNOYING, I met up with them later that night in hope of bumping into someone else I knew within their Rotary posse.
No such luck, but i did met a funny Brazilian guy who some how had manged to break five windows on separate occasions since January.

Despite being in amazing place, I felt restless, uneasy and well downright loney.
I was that sinking felling when you let someone down, but not someone.
A ghost, a silhouette, a whisper

(Now, I got to cesore this for Rotarys `insight' report.....ah where is that delete key)
