Amazing episode! stephenlc4life November 14 2008, 01:18:53 UTC
This is my favorite episode of season 2 thus far!

One main reason is simply because we FINALLY get to see a ton of Eli and Maggie scenes. Funny scenes, sad scenes, and angsty scenes all in one episode.

I think Eli is in a complete denial of his feelings for Maggie. EVERYONE sees how much he cares about her. I like that Chen, Jordan, and Taylor all stated the obvious to Eli regarding his feelings for Maggie. This also reminds of season one where in one episode, Eli told Maggie that there can't be anything romantic between then, the in the very next episode, he tries to kiss her!

I think actions actually speak a lot louder than words when it comes to Eli. Throughout the whole episode, you see Eli doing everything he can to keep Maggie from leaving the firm. Even going to Jordan to ask him to match Posner's offer to Maggie, knowing that the firm is in big trouble and is having a ton of money issues. And he kept asking her to stay at the firm.

And the fight scene with Eli and Scott. Wow, Eli punches Scott twice! First in the stomach and then in the face.

And Maggie's ILY. Wow. That takes a lot of courage. I'm glad that she's honest with her feelings. And I actually think her leaving to another firm for now is a good thing. Eli will get a chance to miss her. I think that might help him finally admit his own feelings for her.

Plus, I think Maggie can do a lot of good in that evil firm. She's in charge of the pro bono department. Posner offered to donate a lot of money to the causes that matter to Maggie, also.

In the preview for next week, Maggie and Matt are already working at the other firm.
