so much can be said with just a glance, or with just the right song. music alone can convey such a range of emotion. add lyrics and the product in an intense blend of heart, soul and talent. there are always exceptions but for the most part, people write from the heart. through their words we are able to associate with and take what we will from somewhat poetic verses that weave a tales from unrequited love or extreme saddness to drug addiction and doing the deed. in the melody we are lost. the words wrap themselves around us, like a slow dance partner ready to make her way to the center of the floor for all the world to watch. its only with truly good songs does the dance, the dirty dance, actually begin.
