Eli/Maggie
Hello!
My name is Bridget and I'm a newbie. Eli Stone in general and Eli/Maggie specifically have my imagination spinning lately. I hope the series keeps my hopes alive. :)
I had a couple of thoughts, a bit vague but fun. You have the three love interests thus far, Taylor, Maggie, and Beth.
Beth is almost a non-entity in my head and heart. She's not unlikable but, I don't like her.
When they threw a high power lawyer/blonde supermodel at me, I was expecting her to be a cold-hearted bitch. Taylor isn't. She seems to be genuinely kind and to genuinely love Eli.
Maggie on the other hand is an idealist, a young, spunky revolutionary. She takes Eli's oddity and rolls along without batting an eyelash. She is the one character that I think will really, viscerally be able to accept Eli in his odd/flawed/perfection.
The love triangle is Eli/Maggie/Taylor for me. It's even more interesting since Taylor isn't a character we hate. When plots like these have me excited, I start trolling for music that fits the situation.
Maggie and Eli's song for me atm: The Way I Am by Ingrid Michaelson
Taylor and Eli's song would be: Lifehouse's Whatever It Takes
When I listen to these songs back to back, I see two fanfictions. If Eli chooses Taylor, he would take path A and find a surgeon and try and have the bad-vessel cut out of his head. This fic does not have a happy ending.
The second fic in which he chooses Maggie, much quirkier and much happier. I think Maggie would make Eli happy, the end ;)
