(no subject)
So i bought an apartment in Wellington. So what. :grins: It's only small - master bedroom with en suite, a small-ish guest room, kitchen, dining room, den, etc. And I furnished it a bit. Bought a huge squashy sofa (which is great for pizza-and-Playstation marathons), and a nice big bed. The kitchen and bathrooms were fitted and everything so I didn't have to worry about all that. I would have a housewarming party, but that might prove a little difficult, what with the guests being spread across a couple of different continents... :laughs:
I think I might just use the place as a hideout or something. Just to get away from things and to take holidays and stuff. I'm not gonna live there or anything. My life is really in LA... hence the reason I've just bought a plane ticket back. I'll be home in two days' time, as soon as I've tied up loose ends here, so maybe I can hang out with some of you guys before I start another job. (Which won't be long... the agency has been giving me shit over the past week or so.)
First up, though, I'm going to do some major souvenir shopping. I was talking to mom last night and I said I'd bring her back something special... any ideas?? And I have to get myself another pair (or six) of Birkenstocks. (Billy, this is all your fault. :giggles:) And of course there'll be the obligatory cd purchases. Y'know. So... I'll see you all when I get back then.
