Is it wrong that I actually like "Stars are Blind" by Paris Hilton? I'm pretty sure that it is, but I don't care. At least I still don't like Panic at the Disco... well... I don't like them a lot...
Anyways, it's only Tuesday and this may be the best/ craziest week ever.
I've got exactly two weeks to finish work for class, but I think I can do it. I have a take home test to do, which I've done about half of so far, 15 pages to write on Augustus, Vergil, and Horace and one more book to read in order to write the paper, 15 pages to write on Roman coins, and one more coin to evaluate.
Speaking of class, I was in H'burg again, though everyone seemed to be out of town. I paid some tuition, saw some random people around campus, and finally got my email address (for the facebooks). After class, I went to BAM and Old Navy, then met up with Mack at Season in Oak Grove for dinner. I was kinda pissed cause Lauren was supposed to eat with us, then bailed cause of her parents, but then this happened.
So, Mack and I are at Seasons. He got the Chicken Tortalinni (which I should have gotten) and I got the Chicken Fajita Wrap (which no one should ever get). We sat down and started eating, and luckily, we had the hottest waitress there serving us. So, we're eating, and all of a sudden, someone sits down next to me. My first thought was "Holy crap. The hot watress just sat down next to me," but alas no. It was Lauren. I have to admit that my heart dropped a bit then, but then rose again, because, hey, it's Lauren. Apparently, her dad wanted to eat at Seasons and they saw my car as they were coming in because it was parked in the very first spot. So, in the end, Mack and I ate, hung out, got dessert (which wasn't great), then he had to leave and I went over to the table next to us where Lauren, Mr. Jimmy, Ms. Lisa, and Courtney had sat down. I hung with them and it was fun. I love Lauren's family.
The big news for the day is that I might be moving back to Hattiesburg. You see, with my uncertain job future, my prof told me about Magee High School, which is ABSOLUTELY DESPERATE for a Latin teacher. I contacted them today and am waiting to hear back. In the mean time, though, I find out about RHS tomorrow, plus, I have an interview at 2:00 at St. Joe (for a middle school English position), plus I have applications to mail off to Jackson Prep, JA, and MRA tomorrow. This could be the week when lots of good, job-related things happen! If I get the Magee High School job, though, it looks like I'll be moving back at Christmas. I even have roommate(s) lined up (more on that later).
Tonight I'm going to go do some shopping and going to eat with some people at Soul Shine. Tomorrow is interviewing and new comic day! I really hope that this week finishes out with the steam that it started with.
