This is as far as I've got with this fic. I will definitely finish it but I think it's going to have to be after Christmas as I am so far behind on my pixie deadline. I've tried to leave it in a place that isn't too annoying.

Edited to add that this fic is now complete (finally!). The last three parts can be found here:

Trying not to spoil meself here, but you left off the lj-cut. Thought I'd let you know. ;)

Yeppers. Don't want to find out what happens before I even start the story. ;)

Bravo!

I've adored every moment of this journey; laughed and wept at the powerful images you've put in my head of a younger Wesley. The vulnerability of the child translated so well to the man.

I do like your take on Wes and Angel's relationship - how Wesley can see the usefulness of Angel in a way Giles never did.

The fatherly feelings of Giles did make me cry quite a bit, I'm a bit of a sucker for hurt/comfort and this was just the right sort.

I'm desperate to read more of the story - but you left it in a good place - Wesley realizes he's going to be accepted as a friend.

Again I have to say - LOVED IT!

Thank you so much for your lovely comments. You've really made the scary business of negotiating LJ and posting fic into an absolute pleasure. I'm especially glad that you've enjoyed reading it because I have loved your fic and had so many hours of pleasure reading it so I'm glad I can give something back. You've also made me cry every single time I re-read Very Best Time of the Year - but in a good way. I sob my way through it very happily and am always so glad that Wesley gets to keep his Commando Action Man.

Thank you. I have to say, it's still one of my favourite things I've written. I listen to that John Rutter carol and I think of mini!Wes and Norman and I tear up too.

I've written a few mini!Wes ficlets and drabbles, as well as the considerably less saccharine sequel - Things Past. *g*

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know how very much I've enjoyed reading this! (And I stayed up wayyy too late to read it all at once!) The transition Wesley makes is well-paced and interesting to 'watch.' And, I must say, all of it has been fun, but in particular Buffy's actions after Wesley is restored to his adult state have made me laugh!

Thanks!

Thanks very much for finding the fic and for the kind feedback. I'm sorry it's not finished but I am going to finish it. I just got depressed after Giles lost LittleWes and lost momentum. I do now how it ends though and it will be happy as I don't really write fic that doesn't end happily in one way or another.

Aw, this was very lovely. A bit more sugary than my usual tastes, but since I was forewarned I could make sure I was in the right mind for it, and I read the whole thing over one afternoon (postponing things I should have been doing instead... oh well). Everybody gushing over little Wesley is such a pleasant thought considering what a miserable life he had.

Thank you so much for reading the fic and for the feedback. Yes, I do try to warn for possible insulin comas as well as for dark nasty ickyfic - of which I've also written my share - and I apparently can't write kidfic without a big tin of treacle to hand. I think it's a pleasant thought too, for me any fic involving People Being Nice To Wesley is my idea of fun. :)
