X-Men - Blood and Steel and Miles Between
This story is bitter sweet. After Charles is kidnapped and experiment on he find himself without his telepathic powers and discovers how deeply his feelings for Erik run. It is sad, because after all is said and done, there are still find themselves on different sides of the war.
